Gah, this feels like Escape! all over again, what with the fights and one Kirby owning the other.
Fire Sword sprites taken from Squeak Squad by me. Long long ago, before I joined Smack Jeeves. ...So, about late 2009.
Listened to that as I worked on this comic. I tell you, that is seventeen minutes of musical genius right there.
Just ignore the contents of the picture to the right, for the music has practically nothing to do with that picture.
I have to ask: are these fight scenes good? Should I go back to using erratic positioning like I did back in Escape? Or is this format fine?

Huh... that was a curb stomp if there ever was one...
Also, I'm curious as to what the next story arc for this comic is going to be. Is it going to be another mission? Is it going to have Talzo make an appearance? I sure hope so. Talzo's awesome.

@ Kirbysmith [DJ]: That was so horribly cheesy that I had to laugh at it.
I always find fight scenes hard to do in a sprite comic. We're only allowed so many poses that they tend to degrade into comedic banter. You, however, seem to have a talent for 'em.

Ya, I gotta agree with you on that one. (I mean that sprite battles are hard, not that I'm good at cheesy banter. *cough*)
Although I haven't done many of those (yet), sprite battles seem so limited (in resolution and poses) that one might be forced to whip out some sort of drawing implement to bring out the effect you're looking for. (Dramatic angles, poses otherwise hard to make with oh-so low-rez sprites, etc., etc...)
Anywho, I think that the Extra Exciting and Eccentrically Erratic "Escape" style is Exceptional. It Exudes with Epicness with a capital "E".
See what I did there?

The fighting scenes are good.
Also, I think it's easy to make them, maybe since I'm pretty used to work with limited poses. I dunno... I also think they are fun to make. :P

Kaxo got burned!
At least, I think he did! Both literally, and pun-ly.BlagH (Guest),

Kirby used the multiple sword thrust thingy to beat Keito as well. What a strange coincidence.Jarkes (Guest),

You know, it just occurred to me that Kaxo wasn't very destructive in these past two comics... Huh.FireKirbyFireKirbyFireKirb (Guest),

No pun intended, actually. I meant that when he fell on his face, he still had his fire hat on, so it looked like he was going up in flames.Alienoid,
